Introducing StarTools
A new, better way of astronomical signal processing
StarTools is a new type of image processing application for astrophotography that tracks signal and noise propagation as you process.
By tracking signal and noise evolution during processing, it lets you effortlessly accomplish hitherto "impossible" feats. These include physics-based anisotropic(!) deconvolution of a heavily processed image, or pin-point accurate noise reduction without subjective local supports, masks or neurally hallucinated substitutes.
Detail, color and narrowband accents, are treated as separately controllable entities throughout a unified workflow. Final signal compositing is delayed until it is convenient and mathematically optimal.
